Question: Hello All,
First of all let me just say that I have twin 8 year old daughters. My girls never had trouble sleeping when they were babies. Then at 4 years old one of them began to have night terrors. She would wake up screaming almost every night.She has since grown out of that, however now my other daughter who has never had ANY issues going to sleep, wakes up several times a night just sobbing. When you ask her whats wrong, she just says “I don’t know!” Then once you get her back to sleep she will wake up again.She has no memory of any of this the next morning and can’t tell me if she is having nightmares of any kind. I ask her all the time if there is anything bothering her, or if she is having trouble in her life that she needs to talk about, she assures me there is not.Tonight this happened three times in the first hour and half of her falling asleep. I am worried that something bad is going on with her. but then again, it could be that I am not there at night, or because she has been in quite a bit of trouble lately. I don’t know, but it is starting to scare me.Oh I forgot…One thing that she does say is that in the middle of the night her stomach starts to hurt, but it never hurts when she goes to bed or when she wakes up.Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
