Question: My 3 yr old has been I’m guessing sleepwalking since she was 2. It used to be that she would wake up screaming, crying and kicking; when we would pick her up she would start throwing herself back and would not give eye contact just a blank stare. We learned after while to just lay her back down in her bed.
We didn’t know what was going on with her but recently it has become strange, we have heard noises on her room, when we go to check she is sitting in the dark playing with her blocks. When we asked what she was doing she just said she had to go to the doctor because she got hurt and then starts throwing a huge fit so we just didn’t say anything else to her (it seemed to make her mad when we talked) and just put her back in her bed.We also have walked in one time she was just jumping on her bed yelling. I think this is her sleepwalking? Any thoughts. If it is sleepwalking is this ok? And what causes this?
