Question: I have a 10 year old daughter that was diagnosed with Idiopathic Insomnia when she was 6. She has great trouble falling sleep at night and wakes up quite a few times in the night. She also has a fear of falling asleep in her room by herself, so we have helped her do that for 10 years. We used to have a cot in our room that she slept in when she woke in the night. I wanted some help on how to deal with this and help her feel more comfortable falling asleep on her own in her own room. She can’t have sleepovers because she is so scared without me around. Help!!!
