Question: I’m very concerned for my daughter and her sleeping habits. She is four years old and for several monthes to over a year she is not getting the sleep she needs.
She stopped taking naps very early on (around two), then my husband and I believed she was having trouble sleeping due to “kissing tonsils” and snoring. She had adnoids and tonsils out ant T-tubes put in at just over two years old.We have a very set schedule for bedtimes and she is typically in bed and asleep by seven o’clock at the latest, mostly due the fact that she is so exhausted and her bahavior is unrulely. She is very aggresive to her brothers so I have been taking her to a behavoior therapist. My husband and I are very heavy sleepers but we’ve seen signs of our daughter being awake at night (ie. toys out, books on her bed) Last evening she was up many times. In fact, we brought her in bed with us and she was up at 5 despite waking up throughout the night.I’m stuggling to get answers from someone to help me explain her behavior and see if it is sleep related.
