Question: I have this reoccurring dream about a cave. It’s a giant cave, pleasant, and the entrance is in the closet to the back spare bedroom in my grandma’s house. I love being in the cave, but I only have the dream when I’m about to experience a big change in my life. A change that devastates me for a significant period of time.
The first time I had this dream was 4 years ago. This was a few days before my husband attacked me. Again 3 years ago a few days before I left my husband when he tried to strangle me. Again 2 years ago before I left my apathetic boyfriend. Again 2 weeks ago before my grandfather had heart failure and I lost my job. It confuses the hell out of me. I long to have this dream all the time but of course I cannot provoke it.
