Question: This dream happened when I was twelve years old and came down with ecoli. I was hospitalized for four days and this story takes place on the second night. I still remember this dream more vividly than another other dream I have ever experienced.
The dream begins as I find myself sitting next to a giant water fountain. The large circular kind they have in front of large office buildings and such. The fountain was slightly different as it was similar to a well. While the water arose from all sides, there was no bottom of the well to be seen. I got up off the seat of the well-fountain and headed towards a castle that stood in front of me. There was nothing to the left or the right just the castle in front of me. The gates of the castle opened for me as I walked up and from there I strolled into the courtyard where the same well-fountain I had just left sat in the same position directly in front of me. I found this odd but was tired for some unknown reason and so I sat down once again and looked down into the well. At that moment a knight appeared a couple feet away from me. I tried to make some conversation but he did not say a word. The knight was clad in his full armor holding a gigantic sword and his mask covered his face so all I could see was an imposing gray figure. After what seemed like several minutes of no response I grew scared and got up to leave the castle only to find the way in had been shut and massive walls surrounded the courtyard on all sides preventing me from escape. I stood up as if I was about to run or find a way to defend myself when the knight unsheathed his sword and suddenly stabbed me. I screamed out and fell back into the well in shock. After only a fraction of a second of falling I woke up to my own screams as well as my mother’s. She began yelling at the nurse standing over me who was attempting to defend herself. Still confused and terrified from the dream I could not stop screaming as I was trying to gauge what was going on. I looked down at my arm that before had seemed paralyzed, only to find the nurse had just stuck me with a large needle while I was asleep. I guess it’s not her fault, how was she supposed to know stabbing someone would wake them?
