Question: Well, some of my friends and my boyfriend have mentioned that sometimes I talk in my sleep.
My boyfriend used to be over most nights, and he would tell me the next morning that I’d been “mumbling in my sleep again” – only it happens in a weird pattern. I can go months without sleeptalking and then out of the blue, I’ll have an imaginary conversation one night, or for the next few nights, and then it would stop again – like it happens in burts or phases. What I’m really curious about though, is that all my life (or at least, as long as I can remember) I’ve had entire conversations (often very revealing, because I spew truths like an open book in this state) when I’m “half asleep” – or that’s what other people say. They think I’m half out of it but still awake, and so continue talking to me, but I never have any memory of these conversations, making me wonder if I am in fact awake but too tired to remember or if this is sleep talking in the very early stages of sleep?
