Question: I learned that I talk in my sleep on a trip down east with a friend 12 years ago. She told me that I talked in full sentences for long periods. She told me this after the trip and said she used ear plugs.
Four years ago I found that I was waking up with numbness in my hands and not remembering things initially. I woke 2 or 3 times a night and feeling very tired. My doctor referred me to a sleep apnea clinic. I have a CPAP machine which I have used for over 4 years.I still wake up 3 times a night and find that my mask is off and my mouth and nose very dry and irritated. This occurs regularly and it happened today. CPAP was set at 6 cm initially and then 10 cm after a 2 year period. I go without it at times as my throat and nose are irritated but wake up with initial memory loss which is scary.I am wondering about research on users of CPAP machine with somniloquy and solutions.
