Question: The last few days, I only slept 2-4 hours every night, which is not weird for me. I have a very long history with sleep deprivation, beginning when I was 14 (I’m 18 now).
I’ve realized that although being sleep deprived has horrible effects, I did find a good thing: it makes me extremely extroverted. I say stuff I wouldn’t say if I wasn’t sleep deprived. It almost feels like I’m drunk.Sometimes I’m in a place and it doesn’t feel like I’m not in that place. I usually depersonalize a lot so this isn’t new, but this sense of not really existing makes me feel like I don’t really care about what people think of me.I tell jokes, I talk to strangers. I’m basically a toddler. I don’t know if it’s normal, but it’s a great discovery! At least now being sleep deprived has a bright side for me.

This happens to me too. I didn’t realise what was going on till I read this post. It’s actually a bonus for us introverts I guess. Only down side being that I personally zone out ever 15min when I’m like that leaving me having to catch up on the convo like a mad man
