Question: I was on my way to my friend Sabrina’s house with some other friends. We knew that she was out of town but we wanted to use her house to hang out because we thought her parents were gone. But, on the way, we saw her older brother Sebastian at a neighbors house. He saw us walking to his house and got very angry. He started yelling at us that we couldn’t use his house and he knew what we were up to.
The next thing I remember was us trying to run through the back door to avoid her brother because we were scared of him. But, when we went out the backdoor, we walked into a little cottage type kitchen. Inside, there was a table full of fresh pastries. My friends and I got excited because we thought they were fresh baked from Sabrina’s mom, who is a very good cook. We couldn’t decide what to eat first. While we were standing there, debating what to eat, Sabrina’s father came in. He was extremely angry we were there, but even more angry that we were eating the pastries. He started to cry that they were from his childhood and that his wife had made them with secret recipes just for him. He wouldn’t stop crying about the pastries, even after we stopped eating them and offered to leave. Instead, we had to stay and listen to him cry about everything traumatic in his childhood that still makes him sad today.
