Question: I have a 6-year-old daughter and she has some behavioral problems. One problem that we have is that I have a hard time getting her to sleep good at night and then she wakes up in the morning and we constantly fight about what clothes she is going to wear, even if she picks them out the night before.
She will say that she wants to wear pajama pants and they keep her warm but I have spent a lot of money on other pants. She says she does not like them and that she does not stay warm. I know that she stays warm becuase she is warm when she gets home from school. Her bedtime was 8:00 p.m. and we changed it to 7:00 p.m.. At first it was okay because she was getting up, but now she does not get up. I also bought her an alarm clock that she loves, but she does not wake up to it.The other problem I have with her is that she will not eat unless it is candy orjunk food. She likes meats and that is about all that I can get her to eat off of her plate at night. She will take about 3-4 bites of her food and then she starts saying her tummy hurts or she is tired. I cannot get her to eat decent food and I am at a loss. Please, Please can someone help me with suggestions or ideas (no medication). I need help because I do not have the money for a doctor’s appointment every time she acts up like this. We live with my parents and they are at a loss also. I am pulling my hair out every morning to just get her dressed most of the time in real school clothes. I need HELP PLEASE?????????Thank you for listening,Molly
