Question: I am female and I lucid dream reasonably often. For the first while, I used it to have fun ‘changing’ the dream landscape; clothes I was wearing; etc.
Then I started walking around naked to show I could do anything I wanted; very strange feeling; so liberating to realize everything was ‘me’ so I needed no fear. Then I went through a phase of dream sex. Also very liberating (especially for a woman brought up with the notions of ‘slut’ or ‘saintly’ choices). Now I am trying to examine my dreamscapes looking to see how they and reality are the same. I have so far noticed that if I slow down and look around the dream, then every single detail ‘crystallizes’ into as real as ‘reality’ (even to grains of sand between cobblestones).I have also noticed that I visit the same dreamscapes frequently. I am wondering if indeed, as Buddhists and Hindu beliefs say, that ‘reality’ is itself a dream. Is all of this ‘reality’ just a similar projection of ‘me’ as in my dreams? I’m starting to think so; but like a dream; my awareness needs to be developed in order to penetrate the dream of ‘real life’.
