Question: I have now recorded myself at night for two weeks straight because I was wondering why I was waking up so much during the night.
Judging by what I am hearing, there seems to be a pattern. I fall asleep, talk, then wake myself up. This seems to be happening on average 7 times every night. No wonder I feel so incredibly tired during the day. I don’t seem to talk about anything in particular, just general conversation with who knows who.I go to bed the same time every evening and get up the same time every morning. I never eat before bed or have sugary drinks. The problem is I am really not sure what to do about it. How do I shut myself up? I have been told I was a severe sleep walker when I was a child but I thought it was something you grew out of. I can’t really say that there is any other pattern in my sleep talking. All I can say is that it is extremely frequent. It’s really a good thing my husband is a heavy sleeper otherwise it wouldn’t just be me I am keeping awake. It would be nice to hear other people’s stories and how they managed to overcome it if they did.
