Question: My Husband talks in his sleep, most nights about the same girl. He repeats her name. He says I love you….. I need you…. Please, please… I love you. He has repeated her full name.
This type of talk about the same person has been going on for 4 years now. It started when he broke up with this girl. I found out that he was seeing her on some level and then the talk started. At first it was sexual but then it morphed into I love you I love you I love you.I get the feeling he doesn’t really love me but will miss the money I will take if I leave.
Four years is too long to have sleep disruptions. How do you manage to get through your nights and have you received any advise?
I talk about my ex apparently in my sleep and will say her name and remove my partners arm from me and say “not tonight ******” I can’t tolerate my ex and I don’t know why I talk about her in my sleep. My ex does stress me out with her behaviour as I have children with her. talking in sleep is out of anyone’s control so don’t take it as gospel. I have also started swearing in my sleep so it’s probably all stress related on my part but don’t think your man talking about his ex in his sleep means anything.
