Question: I was sitting on my bed at home when I started to hear loud clanging noises coming from down the street. I looked out the window to see that there was a huge Carnival parade marching down the road, involving at least a thousand people. A brass band was playing a popular tune while people dressed up as jesters were blowing shrill whistles. Other people had on traditional wooden masks and stood on slowly moving parade wagons, gesticulating wildly in an attempt to scare observers. I was sure that I recognized a friend standing on one of these wagons, even though a mask covered his face. I decided to sneak up behind him, pull the mask off his face and run away with it. Only the mask didn’t come off. My friend sheepishly told me that he had attached the mask to his face using superglue, and that he wanted it off. We proceeded to stroll down the street, asking random strong men we encountered to attempt to pry my friend’s mask off. None of them succeeded. It was getting dark when a girl at a lemonade stand gave us a lemon and told us that its juice would counteract the superglue. And sure enough, after squeezing out the lemon over his head, my friend was able to wrench the thing off of his face. The dream ended as we began to divide into teams for an epic basketball game, in which the wooden mask was to serve as the ball.
