Question: Actually, I’ve only gotten 4 hours of sleep average daily for the last three weeks. Just two hours last night, and my mind is bouncing off the wall with energy. I feel like I have endless mental energy that needs to be expelled through writing, playing music, talking with myself, running, or abosorbing even more information through reading.
I’ve been coming up with brilliant ideas and connections and actually feel motivated to pay attention in class. My attention span is too hyperfocused, in fact, and I have to fidget or look away and concentrate on another thought if there are any pauses in the professors lecture for even a minute second, otherwise my attention is entirely all on the professor. Before these three weeks, I was getting too much sleep everyday, around 8-10 hours daily, and felt lethargic, unmotivated and depressed. More better said, I was depressed so I slept too much. Do you have any ideas as to what is going on with me? Because I don’t fit the description above.
